Although the printing of newspapers is decreasing year after year, the printing of books is still on the rise. These days anyone can print a book and publish it – and we are here to help!
What opportunities do we offer?
Books are sorted into two main groups according to their binding: hardcover and softcover. The thickness of the cardboard cover for the former is between 1-3mm, and a capital ribbon may be added, along with a bookmark ribbon in a wide variety of colours. The minimal format starts at 100 x 120 mm, up to an A3 format. Special effects on the cover may be debossed, folio printing, and silk printing. In choosing the materials, page count, and effects, we will keep in mind your wishes and budget. If the cover material is a textile, we recommend adding a “dust jacket” to the book, which, as the name suggests, helps to keep dust off of the product. Due to the specifications of our equipment, we recommend colour printing at a minimum print run of 50 copies for books.
